Hello! I’m Cole Lienhart. I am an illustrator and designer based in Milwaukee.

I graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) in Spring 2024. After mostly working digitally throughout my BFA program, my thesis project kindled a love for traditional mixed media. I have gone through a lot of artistic phases, ranging from fantasy character art to horror to hand-rendered typographic posters to plain old plein air. Today, I use art as a way to connect with nature and honor Milwaukee’s history and culture. In the warmer months, you can spot me around the city painting or taking photos of cool buildings.

I am currently working on a Master’s degree in art therapy. I am passionate about social justice and believe strongly in the healing power of art-making. When I’m not making art or trying to convince other people to make art, I am usually reading, producing music, playing guitar and piano, or playing board games with friends.
